Our client is a high end forward thinking equity firm (keep reading – think variety, big budgets and loads of scope for interesting projects), with global offices and its own in house creative team. They are looking for a Project Manager to help with the branding/strategy of the firm and its sub companies and partner brands. The in house creative team handle a whole raft of projects, from internal branding of the firm and it’s sub brands, to external projects for their partner brands, such as doing a pop up shops for well known fashion brands or a social media campaign for famous restaurant chains. They also need projects like the interior design of their NYC offices, or merchandising for partner brands and hosting events for them. They have their own podcast, so there’s branding and promotion for that, as well as design and branding for all kinds of internal collateral, events invites, social media content etc. It’s a really wide and varied role, and this person will provide a creative eye, strategise and project manage the delivery of it all, supported by a graphic Designer, and working under the Chief Brand Officer. It’ll include dealing with 3rd party vendors, negotiating, managing budgets, managing work loads, and timescales, ensuring deadlines are hit and work is delivered to the highest standards.
The Brand Project Manager will support the Chief Brand Officer on the branding direction and strategy of
the company. This includes supporting all brand marketing activity, content strategy and design for the company and its group entities, as well as, its portfolio brands.
Key Responsibilities
Support the CBO with development of brand identities and strategies across the Group
• Personal assistance to the CBO organising meetings, travel and other
• Work closely with the Graphic Designer throughout projects on creative direction, deadlines and output.
• Support teams within the Group with initiatives such investor events, presentation delivery and reporting
• Support the in-house Operations team with branded merchandise, office maintenance and new joiner processes
• Field, evaluate and quickly respond to incoming creative and brand project requests
• Define scope of projects, understanding individual requirements then effectively communicating briefs to your team and when necessary, external agencies we partner with such as production companies, illustrators and event venues
• Organise project kick-off meetings, project reviews and maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders
• Effectively manage and prioritise workloads of the team, being able to identify when projects may need additional or different resources allocated
• Proactively anticipate and mitigate challenges that may arise
• Negotiate the best rates for jobs and keep track of contracts and invoices of all projects
• Inspect and review projects during all phases of production to guarantee we’re meeting the brief, deadlines, costs and standards expected
• Maintain an up-to-date project plan
• Manage the digital media content strategy for the Group and it’s 2 charities. Communicating closely with the Investor Relations Team on key investor messaging and upcoming news. As well, writing social copy, content planning, email marketing distribution and working with the graphic designer to produce visual assets
• Support the CEO of our charities with their growth.
Maintaining a strong relationship with our charity partnerships, overseeing website management and ownership of the social content strategy and creation
• Lead our flagship community wellness programme. Build good relationships with external bodies, manage the output of activities and group communication, encourage participation and instigate new ideas.
