Junior Insight Analyst

A leading digital-first social content agency is looking for a Junior Insight Analyst to join their team for 6 months FTC with a view of going permanent.
You will have an interest and passion for data and insights, as well as digital cultural behaviour, a keen analytical eye, and the ability to use various tools to gather audience insights, report success, and derive learnings from the data.
The role will include the following:
● Identifying key audiences and where they spend their time to inform the planning of our campaigns.
● Analysing social media data, as well as other available data sources when applicable, to unlock key audience insights that inform our campaign strategies and creative work (e.g., brand perception, topics of conversation, pain points, etc.).
● Creating periodic reports on emerging trends that are taking over social media (e.g., TikTok), and developing ways for our clients to tap into these trends and inform content on the fly, together with other members of the Strategy & Planning team.
● Producing post-campaign performance reports and, together with a Strategist, extracting learnings for future optimisation.
● Auditing clients’ and competitors’ content in digital spaces to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
● Contributing to the growth of our insight offering to best serve our clients.
Essential skills/experience:
● Curiosity about human behaviour, particularly what drives culture in digital spaces, and a passion for finding trends and patterns within datasets to unlock insights to inform creative work.
● Experience with social listening tools (e.g., Brandwatch) from query writing to presenting insights.
● Proficiency in campaign / content performance reporting, with a clear understanding of the role that each key performance metric has in assessing their success.
● Skilled in data management tools (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.) with the ability to manipulate and visualise data quickly (i.e. producing charts and graphs) as well as presentation tools (Google slides).
● An eye for detail and critical thinking, with the ability to question data, connect different data points, and extract tangible insights.
